Well i guess its about time to try writing an english "blog-entry"(?)
So far the week has rushed away..
This week i have focused more on my studies for my drivers licence wich has resulted in less hours of my own training at the gym.
So this week has looked like this so far:
Monday: fixxed another doghouse to the old dogyard, 1 hour Piloxing, some teoretic studies and 10km Dryland Mushing 3-team.
Tuesday: 3hours teoretic studies. 1 hour driver lesson + 1 hour Riding lesson at my little sisters riding school ( had to fill in for her)
Wensday: since i have been waiting the whole day on Rosco that where on an operation i had no time for teoretic studies (was too worried for him since it took 2,5 hours extra for just the surgery +1 hour for him to wake up fair enough to get released home) ....1 hour Zumba, and soon 10 km dryland mushing with my 3-team ( Rizzo,Diego amd Dakota)
Thursday: will be hopefully attending to the Tabata class IF there will be at least 4 ppl dopping off... Otherwise a few hours at the gym with my ordinady workout schedule... then same on the drivers licence school...
Friday: same here as previous day, Plus 1 hour of a driving lesson and 10km 3-team on dryland again ...
On Saturday:
i will bath my doggies then were off to BollnÀs for our Last SPHK Dogshow this year...
Sunday:
Going to show Shasta in Puppy class, Dakota in youngsterclass as a debutant ( if i remember correctly) and Rizzo in open class) hopefully there will also be an breeders class and "breeding" class
(?) for me and Shasta to show with her siblings and her father i hope <3
Getting a bit nervous already đ.
-----------------------------------
About the operation that Rosco had today the story began last year in October when i discovered a big lump on Rosco's skin at the neck...
At first i started to think the worst of it, and that it might be cancer...
So we went to the animal hospital in örebro, the vet examined it and shaved first then she took a needle (kanyl) and punctured it, and it squirted clear watery fluid like a thin funtain ^^
They told me that it might come back still i was relieved that it wasent cancer! :)
Anyway the lump camed back and rosco started this season for the first time slacking off after first 2,5-1 km, and thats NOT like him at all!!!
So i have been really worried and trying to figuring out why he is slacking off,...
and it dosen't matter if he is in a two team ( for example him and rizzo) or if he is running with all the others... Same thing every time...
He is highly eager to run in the start, and in the start he is the one that is pulling forward like a monster as fast as he can, then all of sudden he just quits and starts to break and tries to slow down all of the others ones in just a matter of an second...???
Then he just joggs after the others without straighting his tug line... Despite i have slowed the whole team down on to a slower pace for his sake ( yes i know a team is NEVER faster than its slowest dog/dogs) still he has always been the fastest and most hardworking
Sleddog among my males...
ANYWAY today the vet removed the lump once and for all, before the operation we tought it was just big as an egg, but when we camed to the vet the vet told us that the lump was actually bigger than an egg, it was actually the same size as an tennisball did she discovered while operating on him....
Thank god she got it all out the whole capsule without popping it while cutting it out!...
So we will go back in about 10or more days to remove the stitches and hopefully he can join the other doggies again on the trainingsessions đđđ
He got about 10stitches or more in his neck now.
Instead of training woth the other doggies my spouse has taken Rosco out for some Running (5km each time) so he has been trained atleast a little bit...
However i am still quite puzzeled about his behaviour.... Since it is as i mentioned before NOT like him at all...
And that is also another reason why i am really hoping that my two weeks at Dave and Anettes Kennel will go well and that they want me to stay hopefully the rest of the season ... ( i can always hope for the best and dream)
...SO that i can bring Rosco And Diego to after my two first "tryout"-week at their place to se if it migh be the case that he is just bored to be in a little dogteam??...
I might be like "reborn" if he gets the chance to come up and work with other sleddogs.... Since i know he LOVES normally to pull the sled might just be the dryland part he dosent like any more??
Well the toughts are many about what might be the deal about Rosco's behaviour...
Sorry btw for this GIGANTIC blog-entry :) but most of all THANK YOU for reading all this!
Lots of Love ///Kim and Team Wolfprintz
